Predoctoral Internship: Pediatric Neuropsychology Track

The Center for Neuropsychological Services offers a one-year, predoctoral internship in clinical psychology with an emphasis on Pediatric Neuropsychology through the University of New Mexico Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This predoctoral clinical internship program is accredited by the American Psychological Association. The purpose of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Track is to provide training in the general practice of professional psychology with emphasis on neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with a wide range of central nervous system disorders along with possible opportunities for consultation with medical, psychiatric, and school personnel. Based on Houston Conference guidelines, this track involves 50% clinical time devoted to neuropsychological assessment.
