Rural Mental Health Care

During their second year, fellows spend ½ day per week all year providing consultation and/or direct service to rural communities in New Mexico via on-site visits and/or telepsychiatry. Fellows are supervised by one of several faculty members who work in this area, and may choose their rural rotation based upon their interests e.g. in working with Native American youth, or infant mental health.
