V Infant Mental Health Track

Supervisor: Dr. Anilla Del Fabbro

All fellows participate in seminars on development and infant mental health, including observation of toddlers, and they participate in evaluations of children with developmental problems.

The Infant Mental Health (IMH) Track l offers fellows the opportunity to participate in infant and toddler assessments. They also observe and participate in dyadic interventions and treatment. The track also delves into research and policy making as it relates to IMH.

Year 1

One long-term psychotherapy patient seen weekly with individual supervision; one day per month or equivalent work with Dr. Del Fabbro doing infant mental health assessment, observation and treatment
On-site visit to Infant Assessment Clinic

Year 2

Six billable hours for psychotherapy patients seen weekly with individual supervision (3 half days per week)
One hour per week reflective supervision with Dr. Del Fabbro
One half day per week (or equivalent) work with Dr. Del Fabbro at Infant Assessment Clinic
New Mexico Association for Infant Mental Health (NMAIMH) membership
