This course teaches critical analysis and close reading of foundational or contemporary journal articles pertaining to topics in psychosomatic medicine. Strengths and weaknesses of different methodologies, types of bias, effects of inclusion and exclusion criteria, intention to treat principles, effects of different measuring instruments on data, and statistical analyses are covered.
