Dr. Adelsheim receives AACAP National Award

Dr. Steve Adelsheim has been awarded the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) 2012 Sidney Berman Award for the School-Based Study and Intervention for Learning Disorders and Mental Illness.

The Sidney Berman award recognizes an individual that has shown outstanding achievement in the school-based study or delivery of intervention for learning disorders and mental illness. Dr. Adelsheim will be recognized at a Distinguished Awards Luncheon and will also make an Honors Presentation about his work during the AACAP 2012 Annual Meeting in San Francisco this October.

Dr. Adelsheim's tremendous work and dedication over many years in improving School-Based Psychiatric Care has positively impacted and improved the lives of many youth in our New Mexico communities. This award is a reflection of his contributions.
