Teichner Award Scholar Visit This Week

The Department is honored this week to host Dr. Elizabeth Auchincloss, M.D., Vice Chairman for Graduate Medical Education, Director of Residency Training and Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, for several presentations and curriculum discussions and more. Dr. Auchincloss’ visit is part of the Victor J. Teichner from AAPDP and AADPRT that we received earlier this year.

At the end of this presentation the audience will be able to:
1. Describe the political difficulties in writing a psychoanalytic dictionary.
2. Describe some problems with psychoanalytic language in general.
3. Describe the specific language problems related to Gender and Sexuality.
