Department of Psychiatry Faculty Named to Biomedical Research Institute of New Mexico Board

Mauricio Tohen, MD, DrPH, MBA and Joseph Sadek , PhD, have been named to the board of the Biomedical Research Institute of New Mexico (BRINM). Dr. Tohen is the new chair of the UNM Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Sadek is an associate professor of psychiatry and neurology and a clinical psychologist at the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Administration Medical Center where he is supervisor of Neuropsychological Assessment.

BRINM is a New Mexico nonprofit organization. Its mission is to promote high quality scientific research and education improving healthcare, medical treatment and quality of life for our nation’s veterans and, ultimately, the general public.
