1. Develop a greater understanding of the substance use relapse process.
2. Examine how mindfulness-based interventions may be effective in reducing relapse.
3. Describe the results from three randomized clinical trials of mindfulness-based relapse prevention as an aftercare group-based psychotherapy for substance use disorders.
All psychiatrists, other physicians, fellows, psychiatric residents, medical students and behavioral health providers -- as well as members of the public -- are welcome to attend. Admission is free.
