Sarah Feldstein Ewing, PhD, presents, A Translational Approach to Improving Adolescent Substance Use Interventions.” Dr. Feldstein Ewing is Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry/UNM CASAA, University of New Mexico. She is also Director, Adolescent ASAP Clinic.

  1. To identify differences in patterns of substance use for adolescents in comparison with adults.
  2. To identify the efficacy of existing psychosocial interventions for adolescent substance use.
  3. To examine how evaluations of brain-based mechanisms might help inform improvements in adolescent addictions treatment.


All psychiatrists, other physicians, fellows, psychiatric residents, medical students and behavioral health providers  -- as well as members of the public -- are welcome to attend. Admission is free.
