OBJECTIVES:

  1. The learner will appreciate that most motor skills have cognitive requirements and are dependent on association cortex as well as the primary motor system.
  2. The learner will be able to define limb apraxia.
  3. The learner will appreciate that limb praxis is dependent on association cortex and is more dependent on the left than right hemisphere.

All psychiatrists, other physicians, fellows, psychiatric residents, medical students and behavioral health providers  -- as well as members of the public -- are welcome to attend. Admission is free.
